From a name to a fold

  1. 01
    Load a set.

Eight guests is Ana Costa through Ivy Chen. Classic and Garden bring their own rooms and lists.

  2. 02
    Confirm the seats.

Eva Berg is T1 S1. Ana Costa is T2 S1. The meal columns sum to 8, and one child seat sits on table 2.

  3. 03
    Read the sample.

The open card shows the first seated guest, the table number, the meal word, and the words “Fold line.”

  4. 04
    Print from the ZIP.

Letter and A4 each hold four cards a page. Eight guests are two pages. The CSV of seats rides in the same ZIP.

Paper

Letter, A4, and a 3.5 by 4 inch card

The flat card is 3.5 inches wide and 4 inches tall, which is 252 by 288 points. A half-inch margin on US Letter (8.5 by 11 inches) leaves room for two columns and two rows. That is four cards a page.

A4 is 210 by 297 millimetres. The same 3.5 by 4 inch card still tiles four to a page with a half-inch margin. Eight assigned guests therefore make two Letter pages and two A4 pages, not one mixed sheet.

Each card carries a dashed cut line and a horizontal fold at mid-height. The name and table sit in the upper half. The meal word sits with a small icon: steak, poultry, fish, leaf, wheat-slash, child, or alert.

The eight-guest set is the contract for the file. Costa keeps apart from Smith, so the Costa three sit on table 2. Eva Berg must sit with Noah Smith, so Berg joins Smith on table 1. Ivy Chen takes the next open seat there.

Within a table, seats run from 1 by last name, then first name. Berg comes before Chen, and Chen comes before Smith. Ana, Bruno, and Mia follow the same rule on table 2. Mia is the Kids meal and the only child seat.

Meal words the matrix understands are Beef, Chicken, Fish, Vegan, Gluten-free, Kids, and Allergy. Any other word counts as Other. A child seat is its own column and is not added into the meal total. The eight-guest sum is 8.

The sample on this page is not the PDF. It is one card, redrawn when the seats change. The paid route writes tent-cards-letter.pdf, tent-cards-a4.pdf, and seating-assignments.csv, then drops the bytes.

Free seating still stops at 400 guests. The card ZIP accepts 1 to 1,000. If the paste has no Guest Name column, assign does not pretend it worked. An empty file is an error.

Place the room on the event floor plan planner when you also need the red aisle rings. Family order and the head table are the wedding seating chart maker. The comfortable table count is the banquet room layout planner.

Card stock and meal icons are spelled out on the event seating chart generator checklist. Diameters that drive how many cards you will print are on the banquet hall capacity calculator.

A 60 inch round at the comfortable count of 8 makes eight cards. The classic preset uses 10 and makes 150 cards, which is 38 Letter pages at four cards a page, with two cards on the last page. The screen still shows one sample.

Download the 8-guest sample CSV if you want the header exactly: Guest Name, Group / Family, Must Sit Together, Keep Apart, Dietary / Meal Choice, Child Seat. Cells are trimmed. Names match case-sensitively.

The 14-day pass is $9.99, marked down from $24.99. It covers the card ZIP, the blueprint ZIP, and the poster ZIP for two weeks. Monthly is $12.99. Lifetime is $29. Prices are the ones on the dock and on the pricing page.

Questions

Cards, pages, and the preview

What is on a tent place card?

The paid PDF prints the guest name, the table number, and a meal icon on a card that is 3.5 inches wide and 4 inches tall. A dashed cut line surrounds it and a fold line runs across the middle.

How many cards fit on a letter sheet?

The flat card is 3.5 by 4 inches. With a half-inch margin, a US Letter sheet holds four cards. Eight guests make two Letter pages and two A4 pages.

Can I preview a card without paying?

Yes. The open panel draws one sample card for the first seated guest. The ZIP of every card is the paid pack.

Are the on-screen cards the print file?

No. The panel draws one card at screen size. The paid ZIP holds every assigned guest on Letter and on A4, with cut lines and a centered fold.
